If this is your first time in the Twin Lakes area, you'll be surprised at how much it has to offer.  Whether you enjoy being outside on trails or out in nature, or whether you'd rather find the latest deal from a unique boutique, we guarantee there is something for everyone to enjoy here

Take a hike around the Ozarks on one of the many well-groomed trails.  One of the most popular trails is the Indian rock house just about 40 minutes south of Yellville, Arkansas.  There are plenty of trails to keep you busy, either hiking or mountain biking.

You can also visit the White River for world-class torut fishing, floating and canoeing.  You'll love the breathtaking views the river offers.  The Buffalo National River system is also close by, offering camping, hiking, canoeing and kayaking, and caving adventures for all ages.

In Mountain Home, there is much to enjoy.  Visit one of the many local boutiques and antique stores scattered throughout the town.  There is a thriving farmers' market on the square every Wednesday and Saturday that is a big attraction for locals and visitors.  Find music on the square during the summer months, and on Monday nights at the Bull Shoals Theater of the Arts.

If you want to get out of Mountain Home for a day trip, head to the very popular shopping and country music haven, Branson, Missouri, about two hours from Mountain Home. Branson has hundreds of tourist attractions, including Silver Dollar City, a 19th century-themed amusement park, White Water - a water park, many live country music and variety shows, and a lot of great shopping.  You can also head south to Mountain View, Arkansas to visit the famous Ozark Folk Center or Blanchard Springs Caverns.  There is also a ropes course at the folk center for those feeling adventurous!
